Freshfields advises Paine Schwartz Partners on its investment in AMFRESH Group and BLOOM FRESH

Global law firm Freshfields has advised Paine Schwartz Partners on the Spanish law aspects of a structured minority investment in AMFRESH Group, the family-owned, vertically integrated global fresh produce leader, and its subsidiary BLOOM FRESH International, the world’s leading multi-fruit breeding and IP licensing platform.

This transaction is built on a long-standing investment relationship and reflects a strategic reinforcement of Paine Schwartz Partners’ commitment to the sustainable food and agribusiness sector.

Freshfields’ role in advising Paine Schwartz Partners Chain Fund VI on this investment follows on its role advising Paine Schwartz Partners Chain Fund V on its 2019 initial investment in Special New Fruit Licensing (SNFL) and its subsequent combination with International Fruit Genetics (IFG) to form BLOOM FRESH International in 2023.
