Huub is a senior associate in the restructuring team
He acts for a wide range of stakeholders on domestic and cross-border restructurings, (dis)stressed transactions and related litigation proceedings.
During his time at Freshfields he was seconded to the financial restructuring and recovery team of a Dutch financial institution. Huub is currently seconded to the London restructuring team.
Huub was recognised as a "rising star" in the Restructuring and Insolvency category of the 2024 and 2025 edition of "the IFLR 1000" and as "leading associate" by Legal 500 (2025).
Huub is a member of the Dutch Restructuring Association (NVvH).
